September

I can't believe it is September already. It brings on a whole new set of emotions, really. In just a few weeks, I will be staring Hannah's first birthday in the face. I have been thining about these days so much. About how it all began. About how it all ended---and began again, in a different way.

I am looking forward to the Share Memorial Walk. We walked last year in October on my 31st birthday. This year the walk falls 4 days after Hannah's 1st birthday. I am glad my husband and I are able to be involved in some way, too. It helps to be able to do something. We are donating the water and my husband will DJ the ceremony in the beginning before the walk begins.

Really, this is so frustrating. I have so much to say and just no words to use to describe it. Writers block of my emotions.

How I love you sweet girl. How I miss you.

  2. I echo your sentiments. I really thought as September approached I would have more to say as well. It's just tough. My heart aches for you too Katy. I HATE that we have to face this kind of birthday.

  13. Katy, I have just spent the last...well way too long really considering I am at work and supposed to be working :)...reading through your blog. Thank you for your comment on my blog that led me over here. Your family's story is amazing and I am in awe of the amazing legacy that you are allowing your sweet little Hannah to leave. God is good and it is so evident that He is using your story to touch other's lives. I love seeing the beauty He is making out of the ashes!!

  14. My girl's bday is coming up too in October. In fact, my friend's daughter has the same bday as your Hannah. She will be doing something special for her sweet child in heaven. Thanks for sharing even when there are no words to capture your emotions.
